Blade Runner

Blade Runner is a 1982 American neo-noir dystopian science fiction film directed by Ridley Scott (Wikipedia article). Seven versions of the film have been shown. It is based on the novel Do androids dream of electric sheep? by Philip K. Dick, and has several sequel novels, all in several translations, as well as a graphic novel and comic book adaptation. The soundtrack has been sampled in many other recorded music works. As a result, the motion picture work is often used to illustrate issues in bibliographic and cultural heritage metadata.
